February 17, 2023 - Hooded Horse emerges from the glade to bring more news from top selling city builder Against the Storm. Recently the community voted on what they’d like to see for the game’s fifth species, and they have spoken - the Foxes are coming!
This new group of denizens will be introduced to the game’s early access build sometime in April. The architecture style has been nailed down, and the team will be finalising their traits, perks, and other visual assets before introducing them into the game for testing.
In other news, this weeks’ update brings changes to logistics which rewards smart and logical building placement, as well as changing how the Favoring mechanic works. As one of the oldest features, it’s taking its turn for some TLC! Check out the full patch notes to learn more about this update.
Last but not least, Eremite and Against the Storm have picked up another nomination - this time for ‘Best Indie Game’ at the Digital Viking 2023 awards in Gdansk, Poland.
Against the Storm is available on PC via Steam Early Access and the Epic Games Store for $19.99 / £17.99 / 19.99 EUR. It currently holds a 96% ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating on Steam with over 7,000 reviews. A press kit is available.
