A first look at the 2D hand-drawn action game, Forgebeast, has been announced by indie team Digital Piledriver Studios.
The game follows Mosh, a Chosen Blacksmith as she battles to the center of the Earth in search of her daughter. She is joined by her companions, called Forgebeasts, which lend their power to Mosh by transforming into weapons with which she fights. Players will make decisions on how to bond with their companions, granting them extra stats, power, and abilities as they help Mosh fight The Slag in this heavy metal themed brawler.
Players will navigate and conquer beautiful hand-drawn worlds, meet unique, memorable characters, use a variety of collectibles gathered from battle, and develop lasting bonds with their Forgebeasts as they crush their heavy metal foes on the way to the core.
