Demo is out!
The search for the Genetically Modified Kittens begins. Help the cat mom through the headquarters of the alien corporation that took her children - at least the first area of it, for now.
After a long 3 years of solo development, the game is in a very advanced state and doing well for its intended late 2025 / early 2026 release window. This demo barely scratches the surface of what's in store for those who'll dive into the full thing, in order to offer a glimpse of what it's about but keeping things as spoiler-free as possible.
About the game:
A Simple Expurriment is a combat-free metroidvania where stealth is key. Exploration is done both by acquiring new powers and rearranging parts of the levels, and a crucial choice later on will lead to one of two different paths and endings.

Story:
Finding herself in space by hitching a ride with the alien who kidnapped her three kittens, a cat mom will have to use all of her feline traits in order to find them as she evades the security systems that keep looking for her.
Fortunately - or not - they're all part of an experiment that aims to understand cats' impressive influence over humans, run by the greedy Toilet Analyst of an even greedier extraterrestrial corporation in an attempt to climb the corporate ladder.
