[June 29, 2026] - Megasploot is excited to announce that Nimbit Frontier, a cozy creature-collecting life sim about conservation, discovery, and small-town life, will launch in Steam Early Access on August 17, 2026.
In Nimbit Frontier, players arrive in the frontier town of Star's End and begin restoring lost species known as Nimbits. Instead of collecting creatures to battle, players care for them, build habitats suited to their needs, help them grow, and eventually release them into sanctuaries where they can thrive in the wild again.
Life on the frontier is not all quiet mornings and creature care. Players will explore the mysterious Underwild in roguelike expeditions, recover genetic fragments from Mimocks, gather rare resources, fish, collect museum specimens, upgrade tools, and get to know the townsfolk of Star's End. Between dives, players can decorate habitats, raise Nimbits, build relationships, and even pursue romance.

Nimbit Frontier is a cozy creature-collecting life sim where the goal is not to keep creatures forever, but to raise them, care for them, and release them back into the wild. Players explore the Underwild, recover lost species, build habitats, help Nimbits grow, and become part of a small frontier town filled with work, friendship, and romance.
Nimbit Frontier is created by Megasploot, a two-person wife-and-husband team based in the Pacific Northwest. She handles the artwork and world design, while he handles the game design and programming. Together, they have spent years crafting a cozy adventure about creature care, discovery, and exploration.
