XL Games (CEO Choi Kwan-ho) announced that it has confirmed its participation in the "Steam Next Fest," which runs from 02:00 on October 14 (Tue) to 02:00 on October 21 (Korea Standard Time), and the first release of its new work "The Cube, Save Us" at Studio Cube.
"The Cube, Save Us" is a next-generation extension action game set in the post-apocalyptic world. With realistic 3D graphics using the Unreal Engine 5, immersive gameplay can be achieved with up to 63 players playing player-to-player (PvPvE) games in one session.
The game revolves around a giant cube 'Cube' left on Earth by an alien civilization destroyed by a nuclear war. Players can experience the thrill of an escape action game that collects supplies needed to survive and must enter the cube to escape safely by fighting mutant monsters and other players.
XL Games will release "The Cube, Save Us" to gamers in earnest through the Steam Next Fest, which starts on Oct. 14 (Tue). Users with Steam accounts during the festival can download the experience version of the game for free to check out the nature of the innovative cube system, fierce multi-fighting, and PVPVE games.
"Cube and Save Us is a game that survives and escapes from a cube composed of 27 cube pieces from different environments," said Park Young-sung, a producer of Studio Cube. "It makes you look forward to what kind of world you will wait for over the door, and since you don't have a job, you can get weapons that fit your style and fight." We expect that special skills (transparent, flickering, etc.) strategically used between easy and fast battles will provide unique fun to our game. We are looking forward to introducing it to not only Korean but also global gamers through Steam Next Fest
More information and wish list additions from "THE CUBE, SAVE US" developed/published by XL Games can be found on the Steam page.
