OperaHouse Corporation, a Japanese game developer, has officially released the visual novel game Dreaming in Cherry Blossoms, I Fall in Love with You on Nintendo Switch and Steam.
A journey to the ever-blooming cherry tree of a forgotten promise…
After a small twist of fate, the main character returns to the town where he once lived.
Each time he wakes, he remembers a long-forgotten promise—made with someone, somewhere, in the distant past.
And just like those memories, strange dreams begin to visit him, as if gently guiding him forward.
A quiet townscape. A peaceful life that seems unchanged yet slowly shifting with time.
Moments spent with the girls he meets there begin to slowly melt the walls around his heart.

The story begins with the main character returning to a town he once called home.
It’s a quiet, rural place—small and familiar yet filled with a sense of peace that gently softens the heart.
As the main character settles back into life in this nostalgic town, he begins to meet a variety of girls, each with her own unique story to tell.
There’s Cherry, the mysterious girl who appears with the morning light—said to be the spirit of the cherry tree.
Wathy, the spirit of the lake, whose encounter with the main character feels both like fate and coincidence.
And Yuri Takai, the responsible and hardworking class president, who used to be his childhood friend.
As these vibrant characters fill the main character’s daily life, fragments of lost memories and strange dreams gradually begin to connect.
Through these encounters, his heart is stirred, sometimes shaken, and often wrapped in gentle kindness.
What lies ahead? A promise from the past—or a brand-new future waiting to unfold.
