Houston, TX – April 25, 2025 — Virtual Sky Interactive has released the first look at gameplay from Café New York 9/11, a narrative-driven adventure game set in a small café just blocks from Ground Zero on the morning of September 11, 2001.
From Baqir Shah, lead level designer of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, this original title invites players into an intimate, slow-burning story about identity, community, and the everyday lives that were forever changed in an instant.In Café New York 9/11, players take on the role of Sameer, a Pakistani-American café owner navigating a regular morning filled with regular people—before everything changes. With a focus on emotional storytelling, branching dialogue, and richly atmospheric design, the game captures a side of 9/11 rarely explored: the hours before.
