Samsung Expands Mobile Cloud Gaming Platform to Europe, Unlocking New Opportunities for Players and Partners

Galaxy users gain access to a growing catalog of top mobile titles with no downloads required; redesigned Mobile Gaming Hub experience coming soon.

SEOUL, Korea – August 20, 2025 –
Samsung Electronics today announced the expansion of its mobile cloud gaming platform into the European market, giving more players instant access to top mobile games on their Galaxy devices without the need for downloads or installations. The beta rollout has begun, starting with the UK and Germany. This phased release introduces access to a growing catalog of premium mobile titles, making it easier than ever for more players to jump in, discover, and play.

Samsung is also leveling up the mobile experience. Samsung’s Mobile Gaming Hub is being redesigned as the central destination to game on Galaxy devices. Later this year, players can expect more ways to discover games across every genre, along with new innovations that make the Mobile Gaming Hub more intuitive, connected, and social than ever before.

“Nearly a year ago, Samsung officially commercialized our mobile cloud gaming platform in North America, and since then, it has quickly become a preferred distribution channel for our partners to reach millions of Galaxy device owners,” said Seline Sangsook Han, EVP of Service Business Team, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics. “With cloud-first features that allow players to instantly jump into games and smarter discovery tools, we’re helping games and services reach new audiences, boost engagement, and improve retention. Now we’re expanding that access to Europe.”

Samsung’s Proven Cloud Gaming Technology Delivers Powerful Growth for Partners
In collaboration with Samsung’s mobile cloud gaming platform, Moloco, the AI performance advertising company, is driving consistently strong results for mobile game advertisers through Moloco Ads, an AI-powered advertising platform built to deliver real business outcomes for mobile marketers. Advertisers consistently saw better 30-day return on ad spend (ROAS) over the course of a six-month campaign.

“As an AI performance advertising company, Moloco helps mobile app publishers and marketers drive growth and monetization through AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable results in a privacy-first environment,” said Ikkjin Ahn, CEO at Moloco. “Our partnership with Samsung enabled us to acquire higher-quality users for its cloud gaming platform more efficiently, showcasing how our AI models maximize both ROAS and user engagement across Moloco’s global ecosystem of mobile apps.”

SpinX Games has run multiple user acquisition campaigns on Samsung’s mobile cloud gaming platform using Moloco Ads. These campaigns resulted in a 100% higher 30-day ROAS for comparable campaigns, showcasing the value of cloud distribution and strong potential for long-term investment value.

“Launching a portfolio of our games through Samsung’s cloud gaming platform has proven the power of instant access, removing barriers and allowing players to jump into the action with just one tap,” said Cameron Zhang, CEO at SpinX Games. “The early results have been impressive and clearly highlight the value of cloud-based distribution, making Samsung’s Galaxy platform a key part of our user acquisition strategy.”

These results reinforce the power of pairing seamless game access with smart ad technology to drive long-term user value and campaign performance at scale, cementing Samsung’s mobile cloud gaming platform as a critical element to drive developer and publisher success.

This news comes as Samsung enacted changes to its public terms earlier this year, introducing an 80/20 revenue share model for games on the Galaxy Store. The new model, which includes titles built on Samsung’s exclusive mobile cloud gaming platform, puts more funds back into the hands of developers and publishers to efficiently grow and scale their business, while providing strong incentives for more partners to join Samsung Galaxy’s growing ecosystem.

Samsung is Reimagining Mobile Gaming Hub for a More Connected Player Experience
Samsung is set to deliver a next-generation redesigned Mobile Gaming Hub experience that will provide deeper personalization, smarter tools, and new ways to connect with games and communities. With the full reveal coming later this year, players can expect a more unified destination for all their mobile gaming needs, including playing their favorite games, watching gameplay content, engaging with in-game communities, and using integrated AI tools to support gameplay and discovery.

Samsung’s mobile cloud gaming scaled expansion into Europe, paired with ongoing innovation across its mobile gaming experience, delivers a premium way to access top games for more users, offering an experience at scale not seen on other mobile platforms. This user-first approach, combined with direct distribution to millions of pre-loaded Galaxy devices and a competitive 80/20 revenue share model, unlocks a new level of visibility, profitability, and growth for Samsung’s mobile partners.

Stay tuned for more on the next evolution of Samsung’s Mobile Gaming Hub as the company continues to redefine what’s possible in mobile gaming.
