LONDON, United Kingdom, July 28, 2021 — Samsung announced today that the Samsung Odyssey League 2021, the premier tournament for Rocket League fans everywhere has begun playing regional qualifiers, but time has not run out for many European gamers wishing to participate.
A final call for fans of cars-and-chaos, sign-up to the tournament is still available across UK & Ireland, France & Benelux, DACH and Nordics regions, and those wishing to prove themselves on the pitch, are encouraged to move quickly to register, with all regions closing no later than July 30, 2021. The Samsung Odyssey League is not just for ready-made teams either, those who play solo can still sign up, where they will automatically be placed into a team of three before play, or can head to the official Discord Channel to meet like-minded gamers and form a team of their own.
An unmissable event for Rocket League fans everywhere, the Samsung Odyssey League features a European prize pool of €25,000 up for grabs and provide FACEIT points to those who successfully move forward to the regional finals. This is the final call for those who wish to prove their Rocket League prowess and scoop a share of the prize pool. The tournament spans five weeks of high-octane competition and play has already kicked off seeing an astounding 138 teams compete in the regional qualifiers, all battling to move forward to the next round. Four remaining regions are about to kick off play starting July 30 with the regional finals beginning from August 7. The Rocket League elite gamers who prove victorious in the regional finals will move forward to the epic final’s weekend, running from August 27 through August 29.
