Warsaw, Poland – Buckshot Software, creators of the acclaimed retro FPS Project Warlock, announce that Project Warlock II officially launched on May 28th, ending the Early Access Period and beginning a brand new chapter in the game’s development. The sequel introduces three distinct protagonists, an expanded weapon system, and new gameplay modes that build upon the foundation of the original.
In Project Warlock II, players follow Palmer, Urd, and Kirsten - disciples of the original Warlock - each with different motivations for searching for their missing master. The sequel expands beyond the original's single-character format, offering three vastly different settings.
One of the most significant additions is Realmshift Mode, which allows players to revisit completed chapters with different characters. Each Disciple brings their own combat style and fully unlocked arsenal to previously completed areas, transforming what might seem like familiar encounters into brand new challenges.
Project Warlock II features:
- Three distinct Warlock Disciples, each with unique weapons and spell arsenals
- 54 total weapons and over 70 character upgrades to unlock
- Expanded customization through Runes, Stats, Perks, and various upgrade systems
- Vertical levels - much bigger than in the first Project Warlock
- Over 50 types of enemies to combat - each with a distinct set of moves
- 3D visuals combined with 2.5D sprites and pixelated effects for a true retro feeling
- Heavy metal soundtrack that perfectly complements the ongoing mayhem
- Flexible save system with both automatic and manual save options
