Machick 2 is a love letter to Vampire Survivor-like fans

Machick 2 will feature insane modes, an apocalyptic story, and endless challenge. Check out the new content trailer!

The highly anticipated Machick 2, sequel to the viral 2024 hit, developed by DeadPixel and published by Nuntius Games, will officially release on Steam on September 10. The game promises to push the survivor-like genre even further, combining humor, story mode, and extreme challenges for fans. Check out the new trailer below!

Who gives up first? You or your PC?

Among the many game modes, one of the biggest highlights is the infinite mode, where players face off against their own computers. The objective is simple: find out who can handle the game's madness longer, you or your machine.

With the endless accumulation of fusions, powers, enemies, and screen effects, The game will eventually push your hardware to its limits, intentionally causing the game to freeze or crash, but can you get there? Can you crash the game live? Reaching that point is a highlight for livestreams and YouTube videos, as seen with the big success of Machick 1.

The Infinite Mode will be monitored online, with global leaderboards for each of the 10+ maps, including secret ones. Players who survive the longest will have their names showcased at the top of the rankings.

Story Mode and Chaotic Gameplay

Beyond the infinite chaos, Machick 2 also features a full story mode, immersing players in an apocalyptic war between chickens and frogs. The lore unfolds through hand-drawn cutscenes, revealing the mysteries of this unusual and humor-filled conflict, packed with references and easter eggs.

The gameplay offers hundreds of thousands of possible wand and power fusion combinations. Like every survivor-like, players can build and evolve powerful builds, but Machick 2 goes further: it also allows for unique themed builds, capable of generating unprecedented results and surprises.

This mix of chaos and creativity ensures an almost infinite replay factor.

Why so much creative content?

Arthur Câmara, creative director of Machick 2 at DeadPixel, commented on the project’s main goal:

“As a big fan of the survivor-like genre, I wanted Machick 2 to leave its mark. It’s truly a love letter to the genre. Everything was made with great care: every spell, every enemy, every death animation, every decision was made asking ourselves: ‘is this what a fan of Vampire Survivors would want to see in a game?’ I believe we achieved our goal of delivering the best possible experience for players who love survivors, just like we do.”

Machick 2 has already gone gold and is set to be one of the most memorable experiences of the year for fans of the genre. Get ready to laugh, be surprised, and push your PC to the limit starting September 10 on Steam.

ROBUST Demo already available

Players can already try a free robust demo on Steam, with enough content to be almost a full game in itself, giving a small taste of what’s coming at launch next week.

DeadPixel, the developer, also encourages players to add the game to their Steam wishlists, helping boost the project’s visibility.
