Evercade Announces Atari Arcade 2

LETCHWORTH, UK: Blaze Entertainment is excited to reveal Atari Arcade 2, a brand-new multi-game cartridge that celebrates the golden age of the arcade. This collection brings together ten fan-favourite arcade games and hard-to-find titles from the early days of the arcade, showcasing the pioneering creativity of early video game developers and Atari's commitment to preserving these experiences for future generations to enjoy.

Following the success of the first Atari Arcade collection, this second volume offers even more fast-paced action, engaging gameplay, and classic arcade charm. The popular robot-blasting action games Berzerk™ and Frenzy™ are headlining the collection, notable for their pioneering use of speech synthesis and compelling gameplay. These sit alongside fascinating rarities such as Maze Invaders™, an Atari prototype that was fully complete but never released to arcades, and which wasn't rediscovered until 2014.

This cartridge will be part of the purple-coloured arcade game line and will be numbered #14. The price of this cartridge is £19.99, $24.99, and €24.99, and it will be released in April 2025, with pre-orders opening on February 25, 2025, from Evercade retailers.
