DENVER, CO, USA – July 8, 2025 – Digital Bandidos and The MIX are proud to announce Indie Fan Fest, a brand-new online showcase dedicated to highlighting unreleased indie games preparing to debut playable demos during the October 2025 Steam Next Fest.
Created by new indie publisher, Digital Bandidos, who recently brought the smash hit Soulstone Survivors to consoles, and The MIX, which has presented showcases since 2012, Indie Fan Fest will spotlight a curated selection of indie titles through a digital broadcast and a dedicated Steam event page, helping developers build wishlist momentum, reach new players, and gain visibility ahead of one of the most important promotional beats for developers and publishers.
The showcase will feature exclusive trailers, developer insights, never-before-seen gameplay, and wishlist-focused calls to action, all designed to elevate discovery right before October’s Steam Next Fest begins.

Your game must feature a new demo launching during Steam Next Fest in October 2025

Your game must not have been part of a previous Steam Next Fest

Both indie developers and publishers are welcome to apply

Final video content is not required at the time of submission — selected teams will be contacted with next steps in July/August
Additional Indie Fan Fests are planned to support games in future Steam Next Fests.
