A voice is saying your name. A WWII-era machine, long hidden in a church basement, whirs to life. Through a crackling speaker, a man asks you to find a stolen book. He only knows the title. Time is running out.
Today Nintendo Switch players can dive into the vast archives of TR-49 -- a fascinating machine, created by two Bletchley Park codebreakers, that has taken on a life of its own. Download TR-49 from the Nintendo eShop for just $6.99 / £6.99 / €6.99.
PATCH FORTHCOMING TO ADDRESS PERFORMANCE ISSUES
"The machine has been behaving very oddly since this book was fed in. It must have given it strange dreams. Like cheese does to Cecil." -Beatrice Dooler
We're aware of late-game performance issues in the release build of TR-49 on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. These issues weren't evident on the devkits we used internally. We've submitted an expedited patch to fix this.

ABOUT TR-49
Following World War II, engineers Cecil Caulderly and Beatrice Dooler built a machine to decode the nature of reality. They lovingly nurtured their Textual Reassociator for fifty years, feeding in an assortment of books, journals, and other writings to expand the rudimentary computer's abilities.
By the time they understood what they had created, it was too late.
Now it's up to you to navigate the computer's archive, link its obscure texts, and uncover its secrets. Communicate with the man behind the speaker to figure out your role in this mystery. Use your deduction skills to find the book at the core of the machine, and then figure how to destroy it -- before TR-49 rewrites the world.
