About Block 17
Block 17 is a platformer, 2d pixel-art action game with horror elements inspired by classic sci-fi horror games: Dead Space, Doom 3 and Alien: Isolation.
The action takes place on a remote planet in an isolated complex with a prison sector.
The protagonist is an engineer who has arrived to fix a failure in the power grid, but quickly realizes: the station has been taken over by darkness, and something sinister is going on here.
Despite the retro style, we use modern visual effects - dynamic lighting, reflections, post-processing - to create the atmosphere of a technogenic nightmare.
Inside you will find intense action with brutal scenes and dark humor, as well as a story that unfolds through the environment and interaction with the AI.
About Pixel Fusion Games
A young team of two experienced professionals complementing each other. One of us is responsible for the technical component of the game.
16 years of experience as a technical artist, with strong technical skills and extensive expertise in various game engines. Have worked at big companies such as Saber Interactive and Massive Ubisoft, contributing to numerous significant titles, including Quake, Halo, WWZ, The Division 2 and Star Wars Outlaws.
The second member is responsible for the visual component and narrative.
16 years as a 3D Artist (strong technical and art skills) / Pipeline Engineer on animation projects (programming) / Lighting Artist on gaming and animation projects (strong art skill). Extensive experience working at various game and animation studios from different countries. Have repeatedly received individual awards for personal visualization works.

We pay great attention to the details of the world. We want the player to feel the reality of the environment, this will help to hold the player's attention and interest so that they don't get bored even when enemies aren't around. Also, through audio-visual impact to keep the tension in the game at all times.
