Larkspur, Calif. (April 14, 2025) — Milestone and MotoGP™ today released Beyond the Grid, a deep dive into the upcoming MotoGP™25. Developed for the first time in Unreal Engine 5, the new MotoGP video game will feature all the official content of the 2025 season, including the return of the legendary Brno track in Czechia as well as the newest entry in the calendar, the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary.

The brand-new Race Off game mode will add variety to the gameplay by letting players train with three different bike types. Available in both career and single event modes, each bike class features unique physics and handling for riders to sharpen their skills:
- Motard: A fast bike useful for mastering speed and handling.
- Flat Track: An off-road motorcycle that challenges players to keep control even in low-grip conditions.
- Minibike: A small but precise two-wheeler that requires high accuracy to be mastered.
MotoGP25 also marks the introduction of two types of riding physics, which will allow everyone to race according to their preferences. The Arcade Experience is perfect for players who want to jump straight into the action without sacrificing authenticity. With simplified bike handling and no need to worry about setups for fine-tuning, it offers accessible gameplay that still reflects the core spirit of MotoGP. The Pro Experience instead promises to be the pinnacle of simulation. Players will be able to tweak numerous elements such as bike settings, tire management, riding aids, electronics, and fuel consumption. This is a more refined experience for players seeking more realistic gameplay.
One of the new standout features is a refined Bike Development System that gives players more control over performance improvements. Team communication will be fundamental as players suggest changes to the team engineers in dedicated debriefs and post-race meetings. Once the bike has been modified based on the player’s input, they can be tested in designated sessions.
MotoGP25 introduces major audio upgrades, with custom sound design that make bikes roar louder, making for the most immersive in the franchise.
Off the track, rivalries are more visible with the revamped Social Relationships Management. A new HUD will help players track competitors’ status and predict their behaviors as rivalries evolve. The updated FIM MotoGP Stewards are now aligned with the latest regulations and will monitor on-track conduct. Players must pay attention to their behavior and results as they will directly influence opportunities in the Riders Market during the off-season.
Regarding multiplayer, in MotoGP25 players will be able to challenge each other both online and offline with full cross-play* available from day one in new ranked races, the Live GP Championship*, and two-player local split-screen mode.
Finally, the new chapter of the MotoGP franchise unleashes the creativity of its players through in-game editors, from the helmet to the sticker, the race number and the butt patch, up to the new podium emotes, with the ability to share creations with the rest of the community*.
MotoGP25 will be available on April 30, 2025, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Game Store.
